Like many Filipino families, my husband and I dreamed of building a better future for our children. My husband works as a seafarer, and while many people think seafarer families are automatically financially secure, the reality is often very different.

There was a time when every padala already had a destination—monthly bills, tuition, groceries, family needs, and unexpected expenses. No matter how hard we worked, saving consistently felt like a challenge. We were earning, but without a clear financial plan, it was easy to wonder where the money had gone.

That experience changed the way I looked at money. I realized that financial security isn’t about how much you earn—it’s about having a plan, protecting what you’ve built, and making intentional decisions for your family’s future.

That’s what led me to become a Licensed Financial Advisor and Accredited Health Benefit Consultant. More than building a career, I wanted to learn how to make smarter financial decisions for my own family and help other Filipino families avoid the same struggles we experienced.

I created Wais Momma because I believe financial planning shouldn’t be confusing or intimidating. Every hardworking family deserves honest guidance, practical solutions, and someone who genuinely cares about their future.

Today, I’m passionate about helping Filipino families—especially fellow breadwinners and seafarer families—build financial security through personalized financial planning, life insurance, and health protection.

Because at the end of the day, it’s not just about earning more. It’s about making sure the sacrifices we make today create a better tomorrow for the people we love.
